At Windover Hills, we believe that everyone can make a difference with their lives. One of the ways we do that is by serving others with our gifts, skills, passion and talents. In serving others, we live out the love that Jesus came to share with us. By volunteering, we grow in our faith and understanding of what it means to be a person who is fully alive.
We encourage everyone to discover a place to serve. Whether you're greeting visitors, helping with worship, teaching children, or serving behind the scenes, there are opportunities to use your gifts and talents. If you're interested in volunteering, we'd love to help you find a ministry that's a good fit for you.

Greeters: Welcome and greet guests before service.
Ushers: Help collect offering & prayer cards. Assist with Communion once per month as needed.
Band / Music: Play an instrument and/or share your voice to lead the congregation in music.Â
Media / Tech Team: Help run slides, audio, and other technology during worship services.

Children’s Sunday School Leaders & Assistants (Nursery – 5th Grade): Lead or assist with Children’s Sunday School, teaching kids about the Bible or helping the teacher facilitate activities (September through May).
Note: Windover Hills United Methodist Church is a “Safe Sanctuary” Church. All persons serving in our discipleship program must obtain required clearances. Assistance with, and the fee for clearances, is fully provided by the church.

Evangelism and Outreach: Help us reach out to our community and share the love of Jesus! We are always looking for creative, enthusiastic volunteers to help plan and run our signature community events, including our annual Community Easter Egg Hunt, hosting our booth at South Park Community Day, and organizing our seasonal Church Vendor Fairs.Â
Church Work Days: There are cleanup and maintenance days throughout the year. Help lend a hand or donate your expertise!

Help guide the mission and future of Windover Hills.
Ministry Council: Helps discern and lead the overall vision and direction of the church.Â
Staff-Parish Relations Team: Our personnel team which oversees paid staff ministries, provides pastoral support, and communicates staff needs to the congregation.
Trustees Team: Responsible for overseeing the maintenance, physical grounds upkeep, and use of space.
Finance Team: Oversees the financial concerns of our ministry.

Windover Hills Preschool is an independent preschool located right here at our church. We provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally while building the skills and confidence they need for kindergarten and beyond.
Classes Offered
3-Year-Old ClassÂ
Tuesday & Thursday • 9:15 AM–11:30 AM
Children must be 3 years old by August 31. Students explore letters, numbers, colors, shapes, music, crafts, and early social skills through hands-on learning.
4-Year-Old Class
Monday, Wednesday & Friday • 9:15 AM–11:45 AM
Children must be 4 years old by August 31. Students build kindergarten readiness through early reading, phonics, writing, math, science, and social development activities.
Extended Day Option
Monday, Wednesday & Friday • 11:45 AM–2:00 PM
An optional afternoon program that includes lunch, additional social interaction, and hands-on enrichment activities.
